South Korea had a strong showing in the women’s short track 1000m on Friday, as Park Seung-Hi won gold while Shim Suk-Hee took bronze. China’s Fan Kexin rounded out the podium with a silver medal performance.

U.S. skater Jessica Smith finished just outside the podium, as she came in fourth place.

Park Seung-Hi is putting together an impressive short track career, as she adds two gold medals (1000m and 3000m relay) and a bronze in 500m in 2014 to the two bronze medals (1000m and 1500m) she won in Vancouver.
