Broncos claimed FB Quinn Johnson off waivers from the Titans.
Johnson, 25, gives Denver a truer lead blocker than incumbent Spencer Larsen. The LSU alum struggled mightily in the first four games with Tennessee, however. Johnson will likely need at least a week or two to get up to speed.

    Broncos waived FB Quinn Johnson.
Claimed off waivers from the Titans in October, Johnson failed to unseat Spencer Larsen as the Broncos’ lead blocker. A former fifth-round pick, Johnson has now been jettisoned from three teams in the past three months.

Titans claimed FB Quinn Johnson off waivers from the Broncos.
Johnson graded out as Pro Football Focus’ worst lead blocker in the league in four early-season starts with the Titans. He doesn’t have a rushing attempt in three seasons, so he wouldn’t be a candidate for carries even with Chris Johnson banged up.

Titans FB Ahmard Hall will return from his four-game suspension this week and likely regain his starting job.
Hall missed the first month for violating the NFL’s policy on PEDs, which he blamed on an over-the-counter stimulant taken to stay awake on a long drive. Hall didn’t exactly set the world on fire last season, but replacement Quinn Johnson has graded out as the league’s worst lead blocker through four games, according to Pro Football Focus. Hall’s return could add another boost to a Titans running game that finally appears to be turning a corner.

Titans placed FB Quinn Johnson on injured reserve with a quadriceps injury, ending his season.
Johnson suffered the injury in practice this week. FB Collin Mooney was promoted from the practice squad in a corresponding move. The Titans worked out free agents Michael Robinson and John Conner this week. Either one could be an option next week when their contracts won’t be guaranteed for the season.

Titans released FB Quinn Johnson, waived CB George Baker and LB Jamal Merrell, and waived/injured WR Eric Ward.
Johnson started the 2013 season on I.R. before getting an injury settlement and returning to appear in four games for the Titans. Baker spent a couple weeks on the practice squad last season. Merrell and Ward are rookie free agents.

Packers signed fifth-round FB Quinn Johnson to a four-year contract.
Johnson, built like a Mack truck at 6'1/262, gives Green Bay a legitimate lead-blocking option in front of Ryan Grant. The former LSU Tiger had 16 carries in his college career, though, so don’t expect many offensive touches.
