Rian Lindell has missed five straight field goals over 40 yards.
He’s in no danger of losing his job yet, because of his accuracy for shorter distances. But he’s one of the worst fantasy options out there playing for a weak offense.
  • FA Kicker (FG) #4
Bills K Rian Lindell (shoulder) is expected to be held out for one more week.
Lindell is well enough to kick, but there’s still concern that he could aggravate the injury by attempting to make a tackle on kickoffs. Dave Rayner will handle field-goal duties against the Titans.
  • FA Kicker (FG) #4
Bills K Rian Lindell sustained a shoulder injury in Sunday’s loss to the Jets.
Lindell suffered the injury while making a tackle in kick coverage. After that, he was unable to take kickoffs or long field goals. Lindell’s status for Week 10 is unclear, but owners should be making other plans.
  • FA Kicker (FG) #4
Bills K Rian Lindell (shoulder) is not expected to be cleared to return this week.
The training staff still has concerns over Lindell’s ability to safely make tackles on kickoffs. Dave Rayner will continue to fill in.
  • FA Kicker (FG) #4
Bills K Rian Lindell has a “bad” shoulder injury, coach Chan Gailey revealed during his Monday press conference.
Gailey believes the Bills will need a new kicker for at least one game. On the season, Lindell is 13-of-15 on field goal attempts and 25-for-25 with extra points. Dave Rayner and Shayne Graham are possibilities that come to mind.
  • FA Kicker (FG) #4
Bills kicker Rian Lindell will miss 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury.
Lindell was performing just outside of the top-12 fantasy kickers in most leagues, so his replacement probably won’t garner much fantasy interest outside of deeper formats. We’ll see whose tires they kick over the next few days.
  • FA Wide Receiver #13
The Bills have ruled out WR Naaman Roosevelt (shoulder), SS George Wilson (neck), and K Rian Lindell (shoulder) for Week 12 against the Jets.
Recently promoted Kamar Aiken is expected to dress as the No. 5 receiver behind Brad Smith and Ruvell Martin. Still learning the offense, Derek Hagan is believed to be sixth on the depth chart. Rookie Da’Norris Searcy racked up a team-high 11 tackles starting in place of Wilson last week.
  • FA Kicker (FG) #4
Bills placed K Rian Lindell (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Lindell suffered a shoulder injury while making a tackle on a kickoff return a month ago. The Bills conceded last week that he’s ready to kick again, but there’s concern that the shoulder wouldn’t hold up if he was forced to make a tackle. Lindell is a free agent in 2012. Dave Rayner will handle kicking chores the rest of the way.
  • BUF Running Back #22
After a recent face-to-face meeting with GM Buddy Nix, Fred Jackson is confident that the Bills will address his contract situation.
Per WGR 550’s Joe Buscaglia, the Bills plan to extend impending free agents K Rian Lindell and RT Erik Pears before turning their attention to Jackson, who has been vocal about his desire for a new contract since training camp. A legit MVP candidate on pace to break O.J. Simpson’s franchise record for total yards from scrimmage, F-Jax has earned a raise. The sides will have to agree on fair compensation for a 30-year-old back with another year left on his contract.
  • FA Kicker (FG) #4
    Bills re-signed K Rian Lindell to a four-year, $11 million contract.
Lindell is 35 and missed eight games in 2011 due to injury. While we can’t imagine the Bills committed much, Lindell will be a good bet to beat out Brandon Coutu to keep his job in 2012. Buffalo’s offense will have to take a major surge to get Lindell back on the fantasy radar.
