Colts LB Skai Moore has opted out of the 2020 season.
Moore has only appeared in 10 games over the previous two seasons, notching one start. He recorded just four tackles in 2018 and none in his only appearance of 2019. Moore was a long-shot to make the team as a special teams contributor.

Colts signed South Carolina OLB Skai Moore.
Moore (6’2/226) missed the 2016 season to rehab a herniated disk in his neck, then returned to earn first-team All-SEC as a fifth-year senior, leading the Gamecocks in tackles in each of his four seasons as a starter and tying a school record with 14 interceptions. In 2017, PFF College credited Moore with a 49.9 passer rating when targeted – the lowest mark in this year’s linebacker class – and one touchdown pass allowed on 122 career targets. Although Moore is undersized and not an elite athlete (4.73 speed, 31st-percentile SPARQ), he offers early special teams value and could develop into a useful sub-package linebacker in time.
