Leicester City has made another big off-season signing as the club announced a deal for Shinji Okazaki from German-side Mainz.
Earlier this morning, Mainz said there was no contract agreement between the clubs, but Leicester City announced a deal was done in the afternoon.

The Japanese striker has played in the Bundesliga for the past five seasons, three with Stuttgart before playing two years with Mainz. In 70 appearances for Mainz, Okazaki tallied 29 goals.
At 29-years-old, Okazaki is Japan’s third all-time leading scorer, with 43 goals for his national team. He is also the highest-scoring Japanese player in Bundesliga history.

This is the third summer signing for the Foxes, having already added Christian Fuchs and Robert Huth to Nigel Pearson’s roster.
Last season, Leonardo Ulloa led Leicester with 11 goals, with the next closest player scoring just five. Okazaki will give the Foxes another attacking threat as they look to build on their improbable fourteenth-place finish.
