The last time we saw Sergio Aguero in a Manchester City uniform, he was tying a Premier League record by scoring five goals in a single game.

Manuel Pellegrini pulled him off early in that match, apparently because he hates history, and Aguero then suffered an injury on international duty for Argentina.

Well there’s good news for City fans, as the star striker is close to a return to the pitch, where we’ll see whether he can score six goals in 20 minutes instead of a paltry five.

From MCFC.com:

“I still need to work hard for another week and if not this week, then maybe next, I hope to start training with the rest of the lads and so and my target is Liverpool.”

City plays Liverpool on Nov. 21, its first match back from the international break.
