20 years later, it’s back in fashion.
Italian giants Napoli unveiled a rather snazzy looking “faux-denim” jersey on Thursday, as the Serie A club have channeled their inner U.S. national team from two decades ago.

Remember John Harkes, Alexi Lalas and co. lining up in the denim jersey with large stars emblazoned upon it during the sweltering summer of ’94? Yeah, pretty awesome stuff.
Anyway, Napoli have taken a leaf out of the USA’s book and used denim for their new away jersey.

Below is a picture of the USA’s denim soccer jersey from ’94 to give it some competition for the finest denim soccer jersey ever made. Actually, these are probably the only two denim kits ever made, right? My next question: are Napoli lining up a sponsorship deal with Levi?
