Raiders signed DE Tank Carradine, formerly of the 49ers.
A 2013 second-rounder, Carradine has only 5.5 career sacks but is decent against the run. He also generated some pressure on 214 snaps last season. In between, he was sidelined by a high-ankle sprain. Capable of playing multiple positions, he will hunt for rotational work in Oakland.

    Dolphins released DE Tank Carradine.
It’s the second time Miami’s parted with Carradine in the past month. He was expendable after being declared inactive for Taco Charlton on Sunday.

    Dolphins released DE Tank Carradine.
Carradine was one of the few veterans remaining on Miami’s defensive line. He was the early frontrunner to start opposite Charles Harris, but lost out to preseason sack leader Nate Orchard. Carradine’s release saves $720K in cap space.

    Dolphins signed DE Tank Carradine.
The Dolphins are also signing CB Jomal Wiltz. Carradine spent part of last season with Oakland but only appeared in one game before requesting his release. A second-round pick of the 49ers in 2013, the 28-year-old (he turns 29 Monday) has been credited with 77 tackles and 5.5 sacks across 45 NFL appearances.

    Raiders released DE Tank Carradine.
Carradine requested his release after playing just 24 snaps over the first four games. The move clears a roster spot for Daryl Worley’s return from suspension. A rotational run-stopper, Carradine should resurface with another team.

    49ers signed second-round DE/OLB Tank Carradine to a four-year contract.
Carradine (6-foot-4, 276) tore his ACL in November, and the team “hopes” he’ll be ready for training camp. When healthy, he’s a powerful pass rusher with a relentless motor. The Niners are just collecting talented edge rushers.

The Sacramento Bee considers 49ers second-round pick Tank Carradine a defensive end rather than outside linebacker.
We’ve also seen CSN Bay Area list Carradine at end rather than rush ‘backer. On the Sac Bee’s post-OTAs depth chart, Carradine is listed as the third-team right end behind Justin Smith and Demarcus Dobbs. Carradine didn’t participate in any spring drills while recovering from the November tear of his right ACL.

According to the National Football Post’s Russ Lande, “rumors persist” that Florida State DE Cornelius “Tank” Carradine (ACL surgery) will be able to work out for NFL teams ahead of April’s draft.
Many evaluators believe Carradine’s game tape is superior to Seminoles teammate Bjoern Werner’s. Werner is a projected top-ten pick. Per Lande, Carradine may be able to work out “at close to 100 percent,” although he’s still just three months removed from tearing his right ACL against Florida in late November. The injury could still make Carradine a steal in this year’s draft.

Florida State DE Tank Carradine (ACL surgery) measured 6-foot-4 1/8 and 276 pounds at Saturday’s Combine weigh-in.
Carradine’s college listing was 6-foot-5, 251, so he’s stouter than expected. Before tearing the ACL last November, Carradine posted 13 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, and a team-high 20 QB hurries (more than Bjoern Werner) in 11 games. Medical checks will determine whether Carradine still has a shot at the first round.

Florida State DE Tank Carradine (ACL surgery) is still aiming to work out for teams before the NFL draft.
“I’ve actually been doing a little bit of running,” said Carradine, who tore his right ACL in November. “I’m a month ahead of schedule, rehabbing five days a week, two times a day.” Carradine could fly up draft boards with a pre-draft workout. He’s currently training in Houston and targeting April for a personal Pro Day.
