    Bears waived G/T Tayo Fabuluje.
Fabuluje was a 2015 sixth-rounder who played two snaps as a rookie before drawing a four-game PEDs suspension in November.
  • Bears selected TCU OG Tayo Fabuluje with the No. 183 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
Fabuluje (6'6/353) bounced from BYU to TCU, where he quit football as a junior before returning for a second-team All-Big 12 selection as a senior. Redshirts, transfers, and time away have sidelined Fabuluje for three of the last five seasons. It’s fair to question Fabuluje’s passion for the game, and the fact that he managed 16 bench-press reps at the Combine sent up another red flag. Still, Fabuluje is a gargantuan human with 34-inch arms and quick feet for a big man. He could grow into an NFL starting guard if he sheds some fat and hits the weights.
  • Bears signed No. 183 overall pick OG Tayo Fabuluje to a four-year contract.
Although he stands in at 6-foot-6, 353 pounds, Fabuluje will likely have to redshirt his rookie season. Various circumstances have sidelined Fabuluje for the majority of three of the past five seasons, while he could muster only 16 reps on the bench at the Combine. He has the size, and feet, to become an effective NFL guard, but his learning process will be long.
  • NFL suspended Bears G/T Tayo Fabuluje four games for violating the league’s PED policy.
A sixth-round rookie, Fabuluje has been playing sparse snaps. This doesn’t help his 2016 roster odds.
