Falcons signed WR Chris Blair, P Trenton Gill, DB Tysheem Johnson, DT Ben Stille, OT Andrew Stueber, RB Carlos Washington and DB A.J. Woods to reserve/future deals.
Blair, mostly a special teamer, has played eight games and 48 offensive snaps for the Falcons over the past three seasons.
  • ATL Safety #41
Uncommitted four-star 2021 S Tysheem Johnson visited the campuses of Alabama and Ole Miss over the last week.
Johnson (5'10/185) was boxed out on traditional visits due to the still-ongoing dead period, which was initially put into place back in March due to concerns over the novel coronavirus. Campus visits remain possible, just no in-person contact with teams or coaches. The Philadelphia native is currently aiming for a Sept. 30th commitment. In addition to Alabama and Ole Miss, Arizona State, Maryland, LSU, Stanford and Texas A&M are all on his radar. Nice eclectic little finalist list, here. On the field, Johnson blends a hard-hitting style of play with turbo-button quickness. He’ll need to pack on additional weight before he’s ready, in earnest, for consistent work at the collegiate level. On the 247Sports composite board, Johnson slots in as the No. 288 overall prospect in the 2021 class.

  • ATL Safety #41
Uncommitted four-star 2021 S Tysheem Johnson will take an unofficial visit to Ole Miss on March 21.
Rebs HC Lane Kiffin reaching a little more northerly with this one, as Johnson hails from Philadelphia. Ole Miss will face stiff competition, here, as Florida, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State are among the other programs who have offered to the 5-foot-10, 185-pound safety. Quickness and physicality are two of the calling cards in Johnson’s game. On the 247Sports composite board, he slots in as the No. 264 overall prospect in the 2021 cycle.
  • ATL Safety #41
Uncommitted four-star 2021 S Tysheem Johnson would like to take unofficial visits to Stanford, Oregon, Ohio State and Michigan after the season.
Johnson (5'10/185) checked out Florida, Maryland and Penn State over the offseason. While the Philly native currently profiles as a collegiate safety, he has experience all over the field, including at quarterback and running back. On the 247Sports composite board, Johnson lands as the No. 243 overall prospect in the 2021 class.
