Aces waived F/C Queen Egbo and G Harmoni Turner.
Egbo, who earned a rest-of-season contract with the Aces in September after being signed to two separate seven-day deals, could not do enough to hold onto a roster spot this spring. The 2022 first-round pick out of Baylor played in Las Vegas’ two exhibition games but only logged seven minutes, including five in Tuesday’s win over the Mercury. As for Turner, the 2024-25 Ivy League Player of the Year was selected with the 35th overall pick in last month’s draft. Given the Aces’ combination of depth, experience and talent on the perimeter, she faced a challenging competition for a roster spot.
  • C Megan Gustafson (leg) is out indefinitely after suffering an injury during a recent practice.
Gustafson, who’s entering her seventh WNBA season, suffered a lower left leg injury during practice on April 28. While the Aces have not provided specifics, the veteran center will be out indefinitely. Gustafson provided depth off the bench last season, averaging 3.7 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game in 38 appearances. Queen Egbo and Elizabeth Kitley should receive more opportunities during training camp behind perennial MVP candidate A’ja Wilson.
