Ade Murkey has signed a 10-day hardship deal with the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, per Shams Charania.
Murkey joins a Kings team that has six players in league protocols. He’s averaging 11.7 points per game and is shooting 49.2% from deep for the Stockton Kings this season. He should get plenty of opportunity in Sacramento if he makes his NBA debut in their next game against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Ade Murkey and Charlie Brown are not with the team and have been ruled out for Thursday’s exhibition vs. the Mavericks.
Both players were signed to Exhibit 10 deals, so their chances of making the active roster were slim to begin with. If anything it’s more likely that they’ll be plying their trade with the Timberwolves’ G-League affiliate this season.

The Timberwolves have signed Ade Murkey to a training camp deal.
Murkey, a second team all-Summit League performer last season at Denver, averaged 10.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game for his four-year career. His addition won’t have an impact fantasy-wise, as he is a long shot to make the opening night roster.
