Salcedo, who turns 26 next month, still has 94 games remaining on his third PED suspension. He hasn’t pitched at all since 2015 as a member of the Twins organization.

That’ll cap off a highly dissapointing 2015 for the 24-year-old right-hander, who posted a 4.70 ERA in 23 innings between Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Rochester. Salcedo might be cut loose from the Twins this winter.

Salcedo is just the latest player to be popped for steroid use. The right-hander has a 1.38 ERA with Double-A Chattanooga this year.

Salcedo was hit with a 100-game suspension in September for a second positive test of Heptaminol, a stimulant, and still had 94 games left to serve on that sentence. The 25-year-old right-hander can’t seem to stay out of trouble, and he posted an underwhelming 4.70 ERA in 23 innings last season between Double-A and Triple-A. Don’t expect to see him in the majors anytime soon, if ever.
