Buccaneers selected LSU EDGE Andre Anthony with the No. 248 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Anthony brings an enormous 82-inch wingspan, but finished with just 10.5 collegiate sacks and weighed in at only 245 pounds, so he might be a linebacker/EDGE tweener. He did wind up with 3.5 sacks in three games in 2021 before going down with a knee injury. The Buccaneers will probably begin him at EDGE, where the absence of Jason Pierre-Paul has given some of the lower options on the depth chart a chance to step forward a bit. Anthony more likely than not will need a redshirt season in the pros.
