Pease was a college backup at Kansas State, but drew praise on all three rookie camp days. “I’m going to do it to him again,” said McCarthy. “I thought Pease of Kansas State had a very good weekend. He had another run today. I think he’s a good young back. ... He’s here for a reason.” If Pease keeps it up when contract drills begin, he could land a spot on Green Bay’s practice squad.
