“2020-21 College Football Futures.”

Here we go!

The Westgate SuperBook was the first Las Vegas sportsbook to re-open their college football future pool and whew boy, is this refreshing to see. Their team of oddsmakers recalibrated the national championship odds (without Big Ten, Pac-12 and Mountain West teams) and came up with the following list for you to bet:[[ad:athena]]

Odds to win the 2021 College Football Playoff
TEAM ODDS
Clemson +200
Ohio State OTB
Alabama +300
Georgia +400
Florida +1200
Oklahoma +1200
Oregon OTB
Texas +1600
Notre Dame +1600
Penn State OTB
Texas A&M +4000
LSU +4000
Auburn +4000
Oklahoma St. +5000

A locked and loaded Clemson Tigers squad is favored to be crowned the national champion in January at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. And it’s hard to argue that. They should put up video game numbers on offense behind future No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence, tailback Travis Etienne and a room full of talented receivers that will make big plays down the field. Oh, and Dabo Swinney ain’t too shabby.

After Clemson, Ohio State was slotted next on the sheet, but the Buckeyes had “XX” next to their name because as of now, there are still no concrete plans for Big Ten football. Naturally, Alabama was next up at 6-to-1 followed by Florida (12-to-1), Oklahoma (12-to-1), Texas (16-to-1) and Notre Dame (16-to-1).

Some notable long shots are UCF (80-to-1), Miami (100-to-1), North Carolina (100-to-1), Tennessee (100-to-1), TCU (100-to-1), and Florida State (300-to-1).

College football future markets will obviously fluctuate if other conferences choose to re-enter the fold, but that’s where we sit at this point in time. I will say, it’s very strange to look at the calendar and see that Ohio State may or not be eligible for the College Football Playoff on September 1.

So... who ya got?
