It’ll be a full year before players head back down Magnolia Lane, but that doesn’t mean that bettors have to wait to get some action on potential green jacket hopefuls.

Matsuyama is listed at +2200 to become the first player in 20 years to repeat at Augusta National, but there are several players ahead of him in the initial odds pool despite his performance over the weekend.
Leading the way are a pair of big names in Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm. Oddsmakers have no plans to let Spieth’s price drift out to the +5000 range as they did last year when he was in the midst of his swoon. He’s instead opening as a +1100 co-favorite alongside Rahm, who shot the low score of the final round to snag a T-6 finish. Just behind them is 2020 champ Dustin Johnson, who missed the cut last week in his title defense.

Other notable prices include Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau, both at +1400 as they look to win their first Masters, while last week’s runner-up, Will Zalatoris, is listed at +3300. Tiger Woods’ playing future remains uncertain in the wake of his February car crash, but the five-time champ is listed at +4000 for next year’s event.
