After a 12-game slate in the NBA last night we come back tonight for a four-game slate, which is highlighted by the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Boston Celtics. Those games are always fun. All odds listed are powered by PointsBet.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks (+4) Total: 230
The Bucks are in Atlanta tonight for what could be a Eastern Conference playoff series preview. Trae Young and Danilo Gallinari are questionable for Atlanta while Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable for the Bucks. So maybe the game won’t have the luster we want, but hey, let’s hope for the best.
The Bucks opened up as a 5.5-point road favorite, but that number has already been bet down to Bucks -4. We are at a point in the season where there are really no secrets. Oddsmakers and NBA bettors both know that the Bucks are 11-15 ATS as road favorites this season. So when the Bucks open up as a 5.5-point favorite and the number drops a point and a half that signals that the Hawks are a trendy underdog tonight. I like to fade trendy dogs.
Edge Finder Tip: Atlanta is 7-2 to the Over as home underdogs this season.
Edge: Bucks -4

Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (+7.5) Total: 224
The Cavs scored a big road win last night vs. the Hornets, but I had the Hornets in a parlay, so I watched in misery. The Warriors are on a three-game winning streak and all three wins have been very impressive. Golden State has also been successful laying big numbers as of late, so I have no issues backing the Warriors tonight.
Edge: Warriors -7.5

Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers ( +6.5) Total: 212
The Celtics are getting hot at the right time as they are looking for their fifth-straight win tonight when they face the Lakers. A couple of weeks ago I thought Boston was in jeopardy of missing the playoffs, but it has been 7-3 SU since. However, the Celtics have been terrible ATS as road favorites, going 4-9 in those situations. The Lakers are also trendy underdogs tonight, but I’m fading them as well.
Edge: Celtics -6.5
