On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick tease their favorite looks in the AFC Futures markets, as well as what to expect in the World Cup showdown between Iran (+300) and USA (+100) (Draw +230).
Bet the Edge kicks off the show discussing their opinions for the Iran-USA showdown. Jay and Drew both like this to be a lower scoring match (Under 2.5 Goals -160). They also dip into the Golden Ball favorites with particular eyes on Cory Gakpo (+2500), led by an impressive scoring profile. Jay also can’t help but look at the legendary Neymar further down the board (+3300) if he returns to full health in the knockout round.
The duo then shift their focus to how the AFC could shape up down the stretch. Jay and Drew think the Miami Dolphins are a worthy bet to win both the AFC East (+225), but have different views on their chances to win the AFC (+700). With Tyreek Hill up for OPOY (+275), Tua Tagovailoa in the running for MVP (+550), and Mike McDaniel hanging around for COY (+500), they believe Miami has enough firepower to secure a claim to legitimacy in a difficult conference amid a difficult strength of schedule. They also analyze the current prices of the Ravens (+1400), Bengals (+1400) and spotlight the Patriots (+5500) as one longshot swing worth taking.
Bet the Edge will highlighting several more pivotal matchups throughout the week!
