Steelers signed P Brad Wing and LS Bryce Davis to reserve/future contracts.
The Eagles gave Wing a hefty $12,500 signing bonus as an undrafted free agent this past April, but he didn’t wind up on anyone’s regular season roster. A talented punter, Wing will vie for Pittsburgh’s starting job in 2014.

Giants signed P Brad Wing to a three-year, $6.45 million extension through 2019.
Wing had been set for restricted free agency next spring. The deal contains a surprising $3.725 million guaranteed, including a $2 million signing bonus. Headed into his age-25 campaign, Wing was just 25th in net punting average last season. He hadn’t seemed to establish himself as a long-term answer at punter, but the Giants obviously disagree.

Giants acquired P Brad Wing from the Steelers in exchange for a late-round pick.
The Steelers were going to have to cut either Wing or P Jordan Berry, so they do well to get something for one of them. Wing will handle punting duties for the G-Men after they released P Steve Weatherford earlier Friday morning.

    Steelers signed P Jordan Berry.
Berry was one of the best punters in the country for Eastern Kentucky two years ago, averaging 43.8 yards. He spent last year with Pro Kick Australia, a program designed to transition Aussie kickers to the NFL. Berry will push Steelers incumbent Brad Wing, who placed 31st in gross punting average and 21st in net (38.8) in 2014. Richie Leone is also on the roster.

    Giants released P Brad Wing.
Wing signed a three-year extension in 2016 but played poorly in 2017, averaging the lowest net yards per punt in the league. Two short punts contributed to Giants’ late losses against the Eagles and Bucs, and Wing also had two punts blocked. This move saves the Giants $1 million in cap space.

    Giants re-signed P Brad Wing to a one-year, $600,000 contract.
Wing was an exclusive rights free agent. He was an unimpressive 25th in net punting average last season, but figures to keep his job for 2016.

    Steelers re-signed P Brad Wing.
The deal should be cheap after Wing placed 31st in gross punting average and 21st in net (38.8) this past season. Wing turns 24 years old on Tuesday.
