Chargers signed Illinois QB Brandon Peters.
Peters (6’4/227) completed 53.8% of his pass attempts for 1,170 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions in 2021. After playing college football for five years, Peters brings a high level of experience to the next level with solid fundamentals to build upon, but there are concerns about his arm strength and consistency. The latter of which will impact how much of a chance he gets at the next level. Peters is a developmental prospect in several senses but is worth a flier for the Chargers.
