Cardinals hosted WR Brandon Smith for a workout.
The former undrafted free agent was also invited to attend Broncos veteran minicamp next week. Smith spent the first two years of his career on the Cowboys’ practice squad before playing for the Defenders of the XFL this year. Arizona would seem to have the more immediate need at wide receiver but the depth in Denver is speculative, at best, behind starters Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and either Marvin Mims or Tim Patrick.
