Rams signed CB Brian Jackson, formerly of the Giants.
Jackson was among the Giants’ final cuts. Used primarily on special teams last season, he appeared in 12 games, notching nine tackles. With the Rams’ top three corners all on injured reserve, Jackson should see some snaps on defense.

Rams waived CB Marquis Johnson, CB Brian Jackson, and OL Thomas Welch.
Johnson, a 2010 seventh-rounder, was no longer needed after the additions of Cortland Finnegan and rookie Janoris Jenkins. Former Giants practice squad Jackson was placed on injured reserve last October, two weeks after signing. Welch was signed off the Patriots’ practice squad in November.

Rams placed CB Brian Jackson on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, ending his season.
Signed two weeks ago, Jackson was held off the stat-sheet in his only appearance. He could eventually be waived with an injury settlement.

Undrafted rookies Donovan Warren and Brian Jackson are both expected to be moved to safety with the Jets.
Both players played corner in college, but speed at the NFL level is a concern. The Jets are loaded at corner anyway, so safety is their best chance at making the team.

Giants CB Brian Jackson left Sunday’s win over the Jaguars in the first half with a hand injury and did not return.
Jackson had his hand wrapped after the game, but said X-rays revealed no broken bones. The undrafted rookie has seven tackles in seven games this season.

Giants signed CB/S Brian Jackson from their practice squad.
Jackson was in camp with the Jets this year, losing his roster spot when Darrelle Revis finally reported. He’ll play on special teams if he’s active on game days.

    Jets waived CB/S Brian Jackson.
Jackson made it through final cuts only because the Jets weren’t sure if Darrelle Revis would sign, keeping seven corners on the roster just in case. Also capable of playing safety, Jackson is headed to the practice squad.

Giants placed DB Brian Jackson (back) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Jackson was expected to vie for a dimeback role with Michael Coe, but he was limited by a back injury for most of camp. The Giants’ secondary is tissue-paper thin heading into the season.
