Cardinals selected UCLA TE Caleb Wilson with the No. 254 overall and final pick of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Ladies and gentlemen, your 2019 Mr. Irrelevant. Wilson (6’4/240) turned pro as a redshirt junior after tallying a career 114/1,675/5 (14.7 YPR) receiving line as just a 17-game starter. He earned 2018 first-team All-Pac 12 accolades with single-season UCLA records in catches (60) and receiving yards (965) in 2018. Straight-line fast (4.56) with long arms (33"), Wilson offers minimal blocking utility but offers many NFL-caliber traits from a pass-catching standpoint. New Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury should be able to utilize Wilson’s pass-catching skills.
