The Bengals secondary has been marred by injury in the first month of the season. Dre Kirkpatrick is out, Nate Clements and Jason Allen are doubtful, and Leon Hall is questionable for Sunday against Jacksonville. Lewis-Harris is an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee-Chattanooga.

It’s a sign that Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) and Leon Hall (hamstring) are nearing a return. Lewis-Harris lasts just three days on the Bengals’ roster.

Lewis-Harris made two tackles in two games for the Bengals last season. Cincinnati CBs Pacman Jones (abdomen, questionable), Dre Kirkpatrick (hamstring, doubtful), and Brandon Ghee (concussion, out) are all injured.

S Tony Dye was waived in a corresponding roster move. It confirms that Terence Newman (MCL) will be sidelined for Week 15.

It’s a depth signing with Shareece Wright (doubtful, thigh) and Tavon Young (questionable, concussion) sidelined. Lewis-Harris will be the No. 5 corner if active this week.

Lewis-Harris was an exclusive rights free agent. He’ll be back at the minimum to compete for a roster spot after playing just one defensive snap last season.

Primarily a member of the Bengals’ practice squad during his two-year career, Lewis-Harris has recorded five tackles over eight games the last two seasons. This suspension hurts his already long odds of making the final 53-man roster.

He was carted off in the second quarter. Lewis-Harris is a backup cornerback who mostly plays special teams.
