Raiders waived DE Chris McCoy, S Tony Dye, and LB Eric Harper.
McCoy made some noise last summer with the Eagles before being a part of final cuts and landing in Jacksonville. He then made his way to Oakland but has yet to appear in an NFL game. Dye played in one game for the Bengals in 2013.

Jaguars claimed DE/OLB Chris McCoy off waivers from the Eagles.
An outside linebacker in Philadelphia, McCoy will be a defensive end in Gus Bradley’s 4-3 defense, serving as a backup “Leo” rusher. That’s if McCoy gets on the field, of course. The 2010 seventh-rounder has made zero career appearances.

Dolphins signed LBs Chris McCoy and Austin Spitler, TE Nathan Overbay, S Jon Amaya, WR Julius Pruitt, NT Ryan Baker and G Ray Feinga to their practice squad.
Nothing of note here. Spitler and McCoy are both 2010 seventh-round picks. McCoy is converting from college defensive end to linebacker.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Dolphins waived LB Chris McCoy and OG Ray Feinga.
McCoy, a seventh-round pick out of Middle Tennessee State, was converting from college defensive end to linebacker. Feinga recently sustained a broken finger in exhibition action.

Dolphins agreed to terms with seventh-round LB Chris McCoy on a four-year contract.
The Sun Belt Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year at Middle Tennessee State will transition from defensive end to outside linebacker in Miami. He fared well at MSTU’s Pro Day after being shunned by the Combine. McCoy will be limited to special teams if he works his way onto the roster.
