Jones

Jones (5'10/182) was a slot receiver and return specialist for the Crimson Tide, securing 85 career catches for 1,030 yards (12.1 YPR) and seven TDs. He scored twice on punt returns and twice on kickoffs in college, also covering kicks on special teams. Jones runs 4.63 and isn’t much of a receiver prospect, but could have a future on punt returns in the NFL.

Jones went to training camp with the Dolphins last summer but was waived/injured prior to the regular season. With Rishard Matthews headed for free agency, wide receiver depth could be a need for Miami. Jones will have a chance to make the team as a return specialist.
