Over the long weekend, Arizona, one of the favorites -- as usual -- to win the Pac-12 this season, released a pump-up video for the program.
The production is sleek and it’s sure to invigorate the fan base. The only qualm I have? It features players that, for the most part, won’t be playing for the Wildcats this season.
With four of their five starters graduating and with a talented recruiting class that will be seeing a lot of minutes, it’s hard to put something like this together in September. I get it. But with the new school year here and the new season on the horizon, it feels like an odd tie to be celebrating the likes of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Stanley Johnson.
