Cleveland State’s Trey Lewis will be transferring out of the program, the school confirmed on Monday.

Lewis, a 6-foot-1 guard, was a first-team all-Horizon League member this past season, averaging 16.3 points while making 96 threes. This is the second transfer of Lewis’ career, as he left Penn State after one season to become a Viking. He’s graduating this year, meaning that he will be eligible to receive a graduate transfer waiver from the NCAA to make him eligible immediately at his new school.

Lewis will be highly-sought after player. Proof? Don’t be surprised to see Louisville get into the mix in his recruitment, sources told NBCSports.com. With Anton Gill, Terry Rozier and Montrezl Harrell leaving the program -- and a couple of other players expected to be on the way out as well -- don’t be surprised to see head coach Rick Pitino dip heavily into this year’s transfer market.

And given Lewis ability to shoot, he’ll be high on the Cardinal wish list.
