Stanford sophomore TE Ben Yurosek finished with six receptions for a game-high 93 yards in Saturday’s 20-13 loss against Washington.
Yurosek (6'5/220) has been on fire across the past three outings, total 17 catches for 310 yards and a touchdown with 11 rushing yards. The former three-star recruit is really starting to emerge as a threat week in and week out. The converted linebacker could be the next Zach Ertz in the Stanford offense. He’ll look to keep up the good work next Friday when Utah pays a visit to “The Farm”.

Stanford sophomore TE Ben Yurosek had 99 yards on five receptions and a touchdown in Saturday’s 34-31 loss to Washington State.
After he hit the century mark for the first time this season last week in the 28-10 loss to Arizona State, Yurosek (6'5/232) led the team in receiving yards for the second game in a row. He got it going early on when quarterback Tanner Mckee connected with him up the middle for the 45-yard touchdown and the first of the year for the tight end. Yurosek and McKee have been finding a good connection the last couple of weeks. This loss was tough as Stanford had the chance to score at the end, but a McKee fumble loss would cost them the chance. They will try to get back on track after the bye as they host Washington on October 30th.

Stanford received a verbal commitment from three-star 2020 ATH Ben Yurosek.
Yurosek (6'5/220) picks Stanford over Washington and UCLA. One reason for the decision was the success and openness of playing time in 2020 of the tight end position at Stanford. Yurosek is listed as the No. 33 athlete in the 2020 class because he played linebacker, but he’ll be a tight end moving forward.

Uncommitted three-star 2020 ATH Ben Yurosek will take an official visit to Washington on June 6.
Yurosek (6'5/220) has cut his field to three programs in UCLA, Washington and Stanford. He took his Bruins official earlier this month. Also earlier this month, the talented two-way athlete made an unofficial visit to Stanford (the program has a rule of not hosting for official visits until January). 247Sports ranks the Bakersfield, California, native as the No. 413 overall prospect in the 2020 class. He has potential as both a linebacker and a tight end, depending on how his future collegiate squad opts to use him.
