    Chiefs signed WR Elijhah Badger.
Badger (6’1/200) got his start at Arizona State, where he broke out in his third season of college ball. Badger went for 866 yards and seven scores. The Sun Devils went from 79th in points per game in 2022 to 124th in 2023 and Badgers’ stats fell across the board. He posted a 65/713/3 receiving line while adding 51 yards and a touchdown on the ground. It was his third career rushing touchdown and he also returned kicks this season, leading the Pac-12 in yards per return with 28.9. Badger transferred to Florida for a final season in 2024. He was an underneath option at ASU, soaking up targets as the team’s No. 1 receiver. The Gators, on the other hand, used him purely as a field-stretcher. He caught just 39 passes at an absurd aDOT of 17. He turned the limited volume into 806 yards and four scores at an elite 3.3 yards per route run. Badger ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the combine but doesn’t separate with ease. A concerning 27 percent of his targets were contested at Florida, though he did bring down 73 percent of those looks. Badger won in a variety of ways across multiple programs in college. How his future NFL team will deploy him is a bit of a mystery, but he has the skill set of a versatile WR3 at the next level.

Arizona State freshman WR Elijhah Badger caught one pass for six yards and one rush for 17 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 35-13 win over Colorado.
Badger (6'1"/195) was only targeted once in his collegiate debut against BYU, but the freshman was finally able to show his abilities as a playmaker with a 17-yard touchdown run in Saturday’s win. He took the sweeping pitch and continued to run to the left side, with some great blocking from his teammates found the end zone untouched. ASU will travel for a tough Pac-12 matchup against UCLA.

Arizona State freshman WR Elijhah Badger (undisclosed) participated in practice this Thursday.
After not practicing on Tuesday, this is a good sign we could see Badger (6'1/195) make his Sun Devil debut. The four-star recruit was considered the 126th overall prospect from the 2020 prep cycle. Head coach Herm Edwards has not said what role Badger will have in this offense. ASU will travel to play BYU this Saturday 9/18.

Arizona State freshman WR Elijhah Badger (undisclosed) did not attend Tuesday’s practice.
Badger (6'1/195) has missed that last month of practice in addition to the first two games of 2021 with the undisclosed issue. It was reported by HC Herm Edwards that Badger could be available this week, but he was not present on Tuesday. The four-star prospect was considered the 126th overall prospect from the 2020 prep cycle and was a big signing for the Sun Devils at the time. Uncommitted four-star 2020 WR Elijhah Badger is planning on taking an official visit to Oregon.
Badger (6'1/195) has already taken several unofficial trips to Eugene and has been exposed to the program enough that he would like to take a closer look. Looking beyond the Ducks, the Folsom, California, native took an unofficial visit to USC over the weekend and is planning unofficial visits to Texas A&M and Arizona State for later this spring/summer. Rivals ranks Badger as the No. 148 overall prospect in the 2020 class.

Rivals recruiting analyst Mike Farrell believes that Oregon is in the driver’s seat for uncommitted four-star 2020 WR Elijhah Badger.
Oregon, USC, Arizona State and Michigan are considered to be the top options for Badger (6'1/195), who’s ranked the ninth-best athlete in the 2020 class by Rivals. The four-star wide receiver took an unofficial visit to Oregon this weekend, and Mario Cristobal’s program is viewed as the favorite in the race for Badger’s pledge. “Mario Cristobal and Oregon have the lead in this one I think and it could end sooner than later,” Farrell wrote. “USC could always make a late push, especially with a new coach [if Clay Helton ends up being replaced], but right now I have the Ducks.”

Arizona State received a verbal commitment from four-star 2020 WR Elijhah Badger.
Badger (6'1/195) was also considering USC and Oregon when he made his announcement at the Under Armour All-America Game on Thursday. Score one for HC Herm Edwards, here. The Folsom, California, native possesses plenty of speed and length on the field, as well as a stellar pair of mitts. On the 247Sports composite board, Badger lands as the No. 126 overall prospect in the 2020 class.

Uncommitted four-star 2020 WR Elijhah Badger ticked off Texas A&M, Oregon, USC, Michigan and Alabama as five programs which he is keen to visit.
Badger (6'1/195) does not currently have any trips scheduled for the immediate docket, but we could start to see him set up his official visit schedule in the coming weeks. While he profiles as a likely receiver for the collegiate ranks, Badger is open to the possibility of playing defensive back should that be the role which his eventual program of choice views as his best fit. On the 247Sports composite board, the Folsom, California, native ranks as the No. 198 overall prospect in the 2020 class.

Uncommitted four-star 2020 WR Elijhah Badger plans on taking unofficial visits to USC and UCLA in March.
The Bruins have not yet offered to Badger, but have shown interest. Washington is another school in that vain, with Arizona State, Michigan and Oregon being three additional programs to watch as the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder sorts through his options. He has no immediate timetable for a decision. On the 247Sports composite board, Badger ranks as the No. 188 overall prospect in the 2020 class.
