Former SMU senior TE Hunter Thedford transferred to Utah.
Thedford is a massive tight end (6'6/260) who didn’t contribute much offensively in his time with the Mustangs, although you may remember him as the guy who caught the winning two-point conversion in the terrific game against Navy last year. He likely will be an extra blocker for the Utes in their multi-tight end sets. Because he leaves as a graduate, he’s eligible to play immediately for the Pac-12 South favorites in 2019.
