    Former Washington redshirt sophomore LB Jackson Sirmon has transferred to Cal.

    Sirmon (6'3"/235) was a key member of the Husky defense, leading the team in tackles with 91 (four for loss) and coming away with an interception and forced fumble. He provides an instant reinforcement to the Cal defense. Sirmon’s father, Peter, is the Cal defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach, so this makes sense.
