Jordan Whittington was not targeted in Los Angeles’ NFC Championship loss to the Seahawks.

From Weeks 1-12, the 2024 sixth-round pick was Los Angeles’ No. 3 receiver and played 52.4 percent of the Rams’ snaps. His fantasy relevancy peaked when the Rams headed to London without Puka Nacua and Whittington managed to reward managers with a 2/9 dud. Over the final five games of the season, dealing with a knee injury, he managed just 44 offensive snaps. Whittington isn’t a must-hold in dynasty leagues at this point, but it’s possible he was simply not himself while trying to play hurt. Either way, it’s hard to imagine much of a 2026 fantasy role for him here.

Rams TE Terrance Ferguson (hamstring) is questionable to play in the Wild Card Round against the Panthers.

Rams WR Jordan Whittington (knee) was initially listed as questionable, but later ruled out. Ferguson earned four targets in each of his last two games, catching five for 87 yards and two touchdowns. Having him on the field would be great for the Rams’ creative tight end usage. Whittington serves only as a rotational weapon at wide receiver.

Rams TE Terrance Ferguson (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.

Ferguson followed up his Tuesday DNP with another DNP on Wednesday. WR Jordan Whittington (knee) and OL Kevin Dotson (ankle) also remained out. Official injury statuses will come out on Thursday but all three players are on the wrong side of questionable for the Wild Card round against the Panthers.

Rams TE Terrance Ferguson (hamstring) did not participate in Tuesday’s walkthrough practice.

Ferguson sat out Week 18 after being a late addition to the injury report with a hamstring injury. He starts out the week listed as DNP as the Rams held a walkthrough on Tuesday. Also DNP were WR Jordan Whittington (knee) and OL Kevin Dotson (ankle). The Rams’ key offensive players will have a few days to practice ahead of a Saturday Wild Card showdown against the Panthers.

Xavier Smith caught his only target for 14 yards in Los Angeles’ Week 10 win over the 49ers.

He and Konata Mumpfield (33 snaps, zero catches) led the Rams’ WR3 platoon with Jordan Whittington only playing seven snaps. None of these players are worthwhile roster spots in this current incarnation of the Rams’ offense, though perhaps if a team thoroughly game-scripted the Rams they’d pop up. Nobody has really stepped up to fill the Tutu Atwell role to this point.

Rams WR Jordan Whittington (back) is active for Los Angeles’ Week 10 game against the 49ers.

He was the Rams’ only question mark on the injury report, and will play a supporting third receiver role. The healthy scratches for the Rams are: QB Stetson Bennett (emergency QB), K Joshua Karty, RB Jarquez Hunter, LS Alex Ward, OL Beaux Limmer, OL D.J. Humphries and DE Desjuan Johnson.

Rams WR Jordan Whittington (back) is questionable to play in Week 10 against the 49ers.

Whittington is scheduled to resume practicing, in a limited capacity today. While the return is good, he is seemingly on the wrong side of questionable for this divisional matchup. Whittington was out-targeted by rotational WR Xavier Smith 3-0 last week, and currently does not need to be rostered in re-draft formats.

Rams WR Jordan Whittington (back) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.

Whittington was a non-participant on Wednesday with a back injury. He has 12 receptions for 121 yards this season as a distant No. 3 wide receiver to Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. If Whittington misses Week 10 against the 49ers, Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith could see an uptick in routes.

Rams placed WR Tutu Atwell (hamstring) on injured reserve.

Even though he played through the hamstring injury in Week 8, Atwell only played 10 snaps. Jordan Whittington will be the Rams’ main No. 3 receiver going forward, but won’t have fantasy value unless Davante Adams or Puka Nacua are hurt.

Jordan Whittington caught 2-of-4 targets for nine yards in the Rams’ Week 7 win over the Jaguars.

Whittington was one of many players tasked with replacing Puka Nacua’s production. He finished second among the team’s wideouts in targets, but Nacua’s vacated looks were spread throughout the lineup. With Nacua expected to return after the Rams’ upcoming bye, Whittington can be sent to waivers on the next run.
