Cal senior WR Kekoa Crawford caught five passes for 56 yards in a 10-3 upset loss to Arizona.
Crawford (6'1/190) was quite literally the only productive part of the Cal offense, as no other receiver topped 17 yards with a large swatch of the roster forced to miss the game due to the largest COVID-19 that any team has experienced during the 2021 season. He was as good as you can ask for considering Cal was starting a completely untested quarterback who struggled the whole way through the game. Crawford caught six of the nine passes thrown his way and even broke loose for a 30 yard gain that also served as the longest gain Cal posted in the entire contest. The Golden Bears will try to put this game behind them when they welcome USC to campus next Saturday.

Cal senior WR Kekoa Crawford registered eight receptions for a game-high 107 yards in Saturday’s 31-24 overtime road loss at Washington.
Crawford (6'1/190), who missed last Saturday’s game against FCS Sacramento State due to an upper-body injury, did not show any ill effects of that ailment in this one. This was his first 100-yard receiving game since rolling up a career-high 141 yards and a score at Oregon State on Nov. 21, 2020. He’ll look to keep it going next Saturday against the visiting Washington State Cougars.

Cal senior WR Kekoa Crawford is listed as the sole starter at Z-receiver for Saturday’s game against TCU.
Crawford (6'1/195) and redshirt junior Monroe Young shared the top spot on the depth chart released ahead of last weekend’s 22-17 loss to Nevada. But the former, who caught two passes for 33 yards against the Wolf Pack, has apparently done enough to make the job his own...for at least one week. Young, who caught one pass for seven yards against Nevada, is listed second on the depth chart. There was no change at the other two wide receiver spots, with Trevon Clark (X) and Nikko Remigio (F) once again listed as the starters.

Cal senior WR Kekoa Crawford caught 10 passes for 141 yards with a touchdown in a 31-27 loss to Oregon State on Saturday.
A nice bounce back for Crawford, who had just a single catch on Sunday in the loss to the Bruins. The touchdown was a beautiful throw from Chase Garbers in the second quarter from 21-yards away that gave the Golden Bears a 21-17 lead. Crawford (6'1/190) will need to be just as involved on Friday if Cal is going to beat Stanford.

Cal junior WR Kekoa Crawford (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week.
Crawford (6'1/190) has not seen the field since Sept. 21. He could potentially return to action against Washington State this weekend, but that is far from guaranteed. The Michigan transfer should be viewed as questionable for the contest.
  • Wide Receiver
Cal junior WR Kekoa Crawford is not playing on Friday against Arizona State.
Crawford has been one of the top receivers for the Golden Bears, but he’ll be out of action for this contest against the Sun Devils. If/when we find out why the former Michigan receiver isn’t going to play, we’ll be sure and provide an update.

Cal junior WR Kekoa Crawford catches three passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 27-13 win over UC Davis.
Crawford’s 37-yard catch-and-run score reenergized a Cal offense that was slow off the block. After catching a ball on a deep crossing route in open space, Crawford made a leaping effort over a defender to get over the goal line. Crawford’s heroic effort was the longest play of the game by either offense. That said, Crawford will have a tough time trying to recreate his efforts against a stout Washington defense next week.

Former Michigan junior WR Kekoa Crawford transferred to Cal.
News of Crawford’s transfer intent surfaced in June, but he did not ultimately land with a new program prior to the season. Cal’s gain, now. The 6-foot-2, 187-pounder logged a 17-243-1 receiving line in his last active FBS season, back in 2017. It’s not immediately clear if Crawford will be transferring to the Golden Bears as a graduate. He did not specify in his Twitter post, only used Meek Mill lyrics.

WTOL-11’s Jordan Strack reports that Michigan junior WR Kekoa Crawford will transfer.
Crawford (6'2/187) came on to catch 17 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown last season. He’s not without his appeal, but the Wolverines have a relatively deep receiving corp and realistically, he wasn’t going to be an integral part in the offense during the coming season. Crawford will try for more robust opportunity elsewhere, though he’ll have to sit out the 2018 season to satisfy NCAA regulations lest he opts for a transfer out of the FBS altogether.

Michigan sophomore WR Kekoa Crawford wasn’t seen warming up with the team in advance of Saturday’s game against Rutgers.
No reason was given for his absence. Crawford was suffering from a lower body injury earlier this month.
