BRADFORD TO ANNOUNCE DECISION TODAY

According to the Daily Oklahoman, the University of Oklahoma has scheduled a press conference for 4:30 p.m. local time this afternoon.It’s expected, the paper says, that quarterback Sam Bradford will announce his intentions of either staying in school or making himself eligible for the NFL draft during the press conference.It’s not known at this time which way Bradford is leaning at this time, although most experts seem to think he will return to Norman for another season.According to Colin Cowherd of ESPN Radio, and forwarded to us by an alert reader, a well-respected NFL personnel executive told Bradford and/or his camp that he needed to stay in school and away from the draft this year.Bradford’s decision could also affect USC’s Mark Sanchez, who has been rumored to be considering a return to the Trojans only if the Sooners QB enters the draft.
