Forget about building stadiums with more seats than your rivals. In this day and age it is all about having the best scoreboards possible. For Auburn, bigger is better. What started as a desire in early February was given approval a few days later. Now the pieces are being put together.
When it is all put together and the power is turned on, Auburn will be the proud owners of a scoreboard measuring 10,830 square feet if the proposed measurements hold up. Auburn will surpass Texas A&M’s 7,661 square foot video scoreboard as well. Auburn’s video scoreboard should be completed in time for the start of the 2015 season, with August serving as the target for completion.
