Heading into tonight’s game with Pittsburgh, Louisville quarterback Justin Burke was listed as a game-time decision.
And that decision? A big thumbs down for the Cardinals starter.
Adam Froman, a JUCO transfer who until tonight had not taken a snap from under center at the Div. 1-A level, started in Burke’s place after warm-ups determined that the junior wasn’t healthy enough to go.
Burke was injured in last weekend’s loss to Utah, and was limited in practice throughout the week.
