Lineman says see ya Claytor to Georgia Tech, hello to NFL
(Don’t worry about it; I groaned as I typed it, too.)
Prior to Georgia Tech’s Independence Bowl appearance, offensive lineman Nick Claytor said he would be returning to school for another season.
In the ensuing two weeks, and is oft-times the case, Claytor underwent an 180-degree change of heart.
In a press release issued by the school, the tackle announced that he was foregoing his senior season and entering the NFL draft.
The 6-6, 285-pounder started ten games for the Yellow Jackets in 2010. In his career, he started 15 of the 35 games he played in.
Claytor becomes just the second draft-eligible underclassmen offensive lineman to declare for the draft. Of course, we knew that because we clicked HERE.
