Three months after getting popped with misdemeanor charges for theft of property valued between $50 and $500 and possession of two ounces or less of marijuana, Rice cornerback Kevin Gaddis has decided to transfer from the program, Owls coach David Bailiff said.
Gaddis was one of four Rice players to get hit with the long stick of the law within one week back in late April. Gaddis played in all 12 games last season, and netted two starts.
No word has been given as to where Gaddis could end up, but as always, if he decides to transfer to another FBS program, he will have to sit out one year per NCAA rules (barring a hardship waver).
