More times than not, a player who decides to transfer from the FBS and heads for a lower level of college football will land in the FCS. Connor Senger, though, is dropping a couple of more rungs on the competitive ladder.
Travis Wilson of wissports.net reported Saturday that Senger has decided to transfer out of the Wisconsin football program. A UW official subsequently confirmed to the Wisconsin State Journal that Senger is no longer with the Badgers football team.
According to Wilson, Senger will transfer to Div. III UW-Oshkosh.
Senger had played quarterback for the Badgers the past two years, and he was named as the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year after each of those seasons. This past spring, he was moved to wide receiver.
