Jaguars signed WR Chandler Brayboy, QB Carter Bradley, G Jerome Carvin, TE Patrick Herbert, RB Ja’Quinden Jackson, WR Tim Jones, T Ricky Lee, DB Keni-H Lovely, DB Jabbar Muhammad, DT Keivie Rose, DB Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, DB Trevian Thomas, WR Austin Trammell, G Sal Wormley and T Kilian Zierer to reserve/futures contracts.
We at Rotoworld are dedicated to giving you all the Chandler Brayboy and Keni-H Lovely updates we can. Here’s what we know: They both signed reserve/futures contracts after spending all year on the Jaguars practice squad. That’s all we got. More to come later.
  • JAC Wide Receiver
Jaguars signed WR Eric Ezukanma to their practice squad.
After three years with the Dolphins that yielded just five total games on the active roster, Ezukanma has taken his talents to Atlantic Beach. Joining Ezukanma on Jacksonville’s practice squad are: WR Chandler Brayboy, OL Jerome Carvin, LB Branson Combs, QB Seth Henigan, TE Patrick Herbert, RB Ja’Quinden Jackson, OL Ricky Lee, CB Keni-H Lovely, TE Quintin Morris, DB Jabbar Muhammad, DL Keivie Rose, DB Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, WR Dorian Singer, OL Sal Wormley and DL Matt Dickerson. It’s a strong collection of names and we definitely didn’t do this blurb just to point out that Keni-H Lovely is a great manga.
  • WAS Linebacker #53
Oregon redshirt senior TE D.J. Johnson (undisclosed) was close to being a full-go in Monday’s practice, according to Duck Territory.
No word as to what Johnson (6'4/258) has been limited by in recent practices, but he’s apparently close to being at full strength. And this is good news for Oregon, which saw another tight end (Patrick Herbert) suffer a significant knee injury during this past Saturday’s scrimmage. Johnson has been used more as a blocker during his Oregon career, but that could change this fall.

  • JAC Tight End #88
Oregon redshirt freshman TE Patrick Herbert is expected to be out for awhile due to a knee injury.
Herbert (6'5/248), who did not play at all last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, suffered the knee injury during Saturday’s scrimmage. While Cristobal offered no specifics regarding the severity of the injury, he did describe it as a “pretty good” one. That doesn’t bode well for Herbert when it comes to his being available for the Ducks’ season opener against Fresno State (Sept. 4). Herbert has appeared in just one game in his Oregon career, the 2019 season opener against Nevada.

  • JAC Tight End #88
Oregon received a verbal commitment from four-star 2019 TE Patrick Herbert.
Before you ask, yes, Herbert is the younger brother of Oregon starting quarterback Justin Herbert. Considering the relationship -- and the fact that Herbert is from Eugene -- this was a foregone conclusion, but the 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end also had offers from schools like Penn State, Nebraska and Cal. He ranks 13th among tight ends in 247 Sports ranking, and the top player in the state of Oregon. The question now is whether or not he’ll have a chance to catch passes from big bro, as Herbert is considered one of the top prospects at the position for the 2019 draft.
