Arizona redshirt junior WR Stanley Berryhill will Arizona and declare for the NFL.

Berryhill (5’11”/190) was a standout in an Arizona offense that was one of the worse in the PAC-12 by racking up 84 catches for 760 yards and a touchdown this year. He had one more year eligibility, but has decided to move on. He didn’t stretch the field that much with just five catches of over 25 yards, and with his smaller frame, he would be suited as an NFL slot receiver

Arizona redshirt junior WR Stanley Berryhill III caught 10 passes for 104 yards in a 38-15 loss to Arizona State on Satuday afternoon.

Berryhill III (5'10/181) was the far and away the favorite receiver for QB Will Plummer. He caught six more passes than anyone else for the Wildcats, including a circus catch in the third quarter for 29-yards that ended up leading to the Michael Wiley touchdown. He finishes the season with 84 receptions for 760 yards and one touchdown. The Wildcats finished at 1-11, but carry some momentum after a strong finish going into next season.

  • Wide Receiver

Arizona redshirt junior WR Stanley Berryhill III racked up 12 receptions for 102 yards in Saturday’s 24-16 loss against BYU.

Both the catch and yardage total marked a career high for Berryhill (5'10/177). It was his first time with 100 yards, and the only thing missing was a visit to the end zone. He hasn’t done that since Nov. 21, 2020 in Washington. Berryhill and QB Gunner Cruz really seemed to be on the same page, and that’s a connection to watch going forward. The Wildcats host San Diego State next weekend, as they look to bounce back.

  • Wide Receiver

Arizona redshirt junior WR Stanley Berryhill III has changed his mind regarding a transfer to Ball State, and will remain with the Wildcats.

Berryhill (5'10/177) announced his decision to transfer to Ball State on December 29, but a lot has changed since then. New HC Jedd Fisch has made all of the right moves thus far, including convincing multiple players who were going to leave to stick around in Tucson. Berryhill was Arizona’s leading target in 2020, as he caught 23 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. Who will be throwing the ball remains to be seen, as Grant Gunnell transferred to Memphis. But with Berryhill, Majon Wright, Jamarye Joiner and Boobie Curry all remaining with the program, Arizona’s next signal-caller will have some established talent to work with.

  • Wide Receiver

Former Arizona redshirt junior WR Stanley Berryhill III transferred to Ball State.

This is a nice pickup for the reigning MAC champions. Berryhill (5'10/177) appeared in five games for Arizona this season, leading the team in receptions (23), receiving yards (227) and receiving touchdowns (three). As a redshirt junior, Berryhill will have up to two seasons of eligibility remaining at Ball State beginning with the 2021 campaign.

  • Wide Receiver

Arizona redshirt junior WR Stanley Berryhill III entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Berryhill (5'10/177) was Arizona’s best wide receiver this season, as in five games he led the team in receptions (23), receiving yards (227) and receiving touchdowns (three). The redshirt junior, who will have two years of eligibility remaining, caught two of those touchdown passes in the Wildcats’ November 21 loss at Washington. Berryhill may be one of the first Wildcats to announce his intention to transfer, but he won’t be the last. The school is in the midst of a head coaching search following the firing or Kevin Sumlin, who ended his tenure on a 12-game losing streak.

  • Wide Receiver

Arizona redshirt junior WR Stanley Berryhill III caught five passes for 65 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-27 loss to Washington on Saturday.

Both touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, and neither score had anything to do with the outcome. They still count. Berryhill and Gunnell connected on a 30-yard score to make it 37-6 early in the fourth, and they found paydirt again on a 24-yarder with 33 seconds left. The 5-foot-10, 177-pound wideout has caught 13 passes to begin the year, and he’s scored three touchdowns while looking like the top option in the passing game. Berryhill III could have another big game on Saturday against UCLA.

  • Wide Receiver

Arizona redshirt junior WR Stanley Berryhill III caught eight passes for 70 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 34-30 loss to USC.

Berryhill (5'10/177), who finished last season with 19 receptions for 288 yards and three touchdowns, got his 2020 campaign off to a good start Saturday afternoon. The redshirt junior was targeted a team-high nine times on the day, with no other Wildcat having more than five (Tayvian Cunningham). Berryhill has good chemistry with sophomore QB Grant Gunnell, which could result in him putting up the best numbers of his Arizona career by season’s end. The Wildcats visit Washington next weekend.
