SMU sophomore RB TaMerik Williams entered the NCAA transfer portal.
After two seasons at SMU, Williams (5'11/235) has decided to move on. Third on the depth chart behind Ulysses Bentley IV and TJ McDaniel at the start of the 2020 season, the sophomore running back appeared in all ten games but rushed for just 98 yards on 13 carries. Williams, who also caught three passes for five yards, will have up to three seasons of eligibility remaining at his next stop.
