Free agent FB Corey McIntyre was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery Wednesday.
McIntyre appeared in 13 games for the Bills last season, mostly as a special teamer. He was allegedly arguing with a woman while in his bathtub. He says that when he attempted to get out, he pulled the shower curtain and the rod struck the woman. The affidavit states that McIntyre chased after her and ripped her shirt as she was trying to leave. Now 34, there’s a good chance McIntyre’s NFL career is over.

The Bills have expressed interest in bringing back free agent FB Corey McIntyre.
“Right now it looks like we’re going to wait for the start of free agency before making any decisions,” said McIntyre’s agent. The 34-year-old earned a base of $900,000 in 2012. He shouldn’t get much more than that on his next deal.

The Bills are no longer interested in re-signing free agent FB Corey McIntyre.
Coach Doug Marrone is scrapping fullbacks like McIntyre in favor of H-backs like rookie Chris Gragg. If they really need a lead blocker, they’ll use DT Kyle Williams. “It seems pretty obvious that it’s no longer the right fit for either side,” said McIntyre’s agent. “We’ll be looking for work elsewhere.”

The agent for Corey McIntyre says the Bills fullback passed a polygraph test “with flying colors.”
The agent says reports of McIntyre exposing himself in front of a Florida woman are “outrageous and harmful allegations” and referred to it as a case of mistaken identity. Charges are still pending against McIntyre.
