Chargers signed Ohio State ILB Curtis Grant.
Grant (6'3/240) made 28 starts at Ohio State, managing nine career TFLs and 3.5 sacks. He showed plus athleticism at his Pro Day, running 4.65/4.70 with a 36-inch vertical and 10-foot-5 broad jump. An aggressive, downhill inside linebacker, Grant’s deficiencies are his weak college production, pass-coverage limitations, and inability to become more than a rotational linebacker at Ohio State. Grant would probably make the perfect NFL special teamer.
