Marsh got some first-team reps during OTAs, but this was a bit out of the blue. The first-team nickel set had Marsh at right corner, Nnamdi Asomugha in the slot, and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on the left side. Asomugha struggled in the slot last year, but the Eagles may be trying to weed out Joselio Hanson.

Rodgers-Cromartie missed for personal reasons. Marsh, the 90th overall pick in last year’s draft, reportedly made several nice plays in coverage and it appears he’d be first in line to start if DRC missed any regular season time.

Marsh broke his hand during the preseason with the Eagles, but he’s recovered. Miles was cut by the Bengals Monday. To make room, the Bengals waived LB J.K. Schaffer and placed DE Robert Geathers on season-ending injured reserve.

The move clears a roster spot for LB Michael Boley. Marsh appeared in two games after being signed on September 18, but was held off the stat-sheet.

The 2011 third-rounder broke his hand in the Eagles’ second preseason game. He’ll revert to injured reserve if/when he clears waivers. Marsh has made 22 career appearances, but zero starts.

He’s out indefinitely. Marsh opened Eagles camp working as the team’s first-string right corner on passing downs, but had since fallen behind Cary Williams, Bradley Fletcher, and Brandon Boykin. His roster spot is not assured.

Coleman was a disaster last season, while Marsh played just 62 snaps. Coleman won’t enter new coach Chip Kelly’s first camp as a starter, but his status could depend on Kenny Phillips’ health.

The Eagles are moving on from the 2011 third-rounder after he broke his hand in the second preseason game. He’s yet to make a start, and was buried on the depth chart before his injury. He’ll try to latch on elsewhere as a special teamer.

The Eagles were already thin at corner and now starter Bradley Fletcher is nursing a pectoral strain. Marsh was a third-round pick of Philly in 2011, but was waived after breaking his hand in the second preseason game this season.

The move clears a roster spot for S T.J. Ward, who is coming off suspension. Marsh ended up appearing in zero games as a Bronco, and hasn’t made a regular season appearance for any team since 2013.
