    Jaguars signed LB D.J. Alexander, formerly of the Eagles.

    The Jaguars added a trio of special teams LBs on Wednesday, adding Alexander, Najee Goode, and Ramik Wilson. None are guaranteed to make the club.

    Seahawks acquired LB D.J. Alexander from the Chiefs in exchange for LB Kevin Pierre-Louis.

    An elite special teams player, Alexander made the Pro Bowl last season with 12 combined tackles in kickoff and punt coverage. It’s more of a depth trade for both teams. Neither will be counted on to play defense.

    Chiefs selected Oregon State LB D.J. Alexander with the No. 172 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.

    Alexander, who stands 6'2/233 lbs, is one of the top athletes at linebacker in this class. He recorded a 4.54 forty with a 6.97 3-cone and 10-foot plus broad jump. Alexander does have neck surgery on his record, but made 32 career starts while with the Beavers.
