    Reds released 1B-OF Danny Dorn.
Dorn was originally drafted by the Reds back in 2006 and posted a .278/.360/.489 batting line over seven seasons in the minors, but his career has stalled over the past couple of years. Now 27 years old, he’ll attempt to latch on elsewhere.
  • INT Outfield
Danny Dorn has been diagnosed with a fracture in his right wrist and will miss at least six weeks.
Dorn was signed to a minor league contract in November after posting a promising .258/.335/.460 batting line with 25 home runs and 82 RBI in 2013 for the Tigers’ Triple-A team. The 29-year-old is no longer in the running for an Opening Day roster spot.
  • INT Outfield
Diamondbacks signed 1B/OF Danny Dorn to a minor league contract.
The 29-year-old had a bit of a resurgence at Triple-A Toledo in 2013, slashing .258/.335/.460 with 25 homers, 82 RBI and eight stolen bases. He did fan 131 times in 496 at-bats, but has legitimate pop and could compete for a bench spot with the Diamondbacks.
  • MLB Outfield #26
Yasmany Tomas was scratched from Tuesday’s lineup due to illness.
Tomas is having a little trouble with altitude sickness in Denver. It’s a bummer for Tomas’ fantasy owners, as they were surely looking forward to a matchup against Kyle Kendrick at Coors Field. Danny Dorn has taken his spot in right field.
  • INT Outfield
Diamondbacks optioned 1B/OF Daniel Dorn to Triple-A Reno.
He gets the boot even after delivering a game-tying, pinch-hit, two-run double against Craig Kimbrel in the ninth inning Saturday. Dorn had three hits in nine at-bats during his brief time with the big club.
  • INT Outfield
Diamondbacks recalled 1B/OF Danny Dorn from Triple-A Reno.
Dorn has hit just .172/.226/.207 over 22 games with the big club this season. He figures to be used mainly in a pinch-hitting role.
  • INT Outfield
Diamondbacks recalled 1B/OF Daniel Dorn from Triple-A Reno.
He’ll take the place of the injured Ender Inciarte on the active roster. Dorn, 30, had a brief stint with the Diamondbacks earlier this season and owns a ridiculous .426/.470/.628 batting line through 39 games in Triple-A this year.
  • INT Outfield
Diamondbacks optioned 1B/OF Danny Dorn to Triple-A Reno.
The D’Backs needed to clear space for Patrick Corbin and Oscar Hernandez, who are both coming off the 60-day DL. Dorn has just five hits in 29 at-bats for the big club this year. He’ll get another shot when the rosters expand in September, if not sooner.
  • INT Outfield
Diamondbacks optioned 1B/OF Danny Dorn to Triple-A Reno.
Dorn, who’s been up and down all season, owns a rough .167/.219/.200 batting line in 23 games this year at the major league level. He was moved off the 25-man roster Tuesday to open a spot for reliever Dominic Leone.

Blue Jays claimed 1B/OF Danny Dorn off waivers from the Diamondbacks.
He’ll report to Triple-A Buffalo. The 31-year-old was hitting a blistering .386/.444/.618 with 10 homers and 53 RBI in 75 games at Triple-A Reno but struggled in his limited time with the Diamondbacks. He could provide depth on the Jays bench in September.
