Jets selected Ole Miss CB Derrick Jones with the No. 204 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Jones has good length (6'2) and showed explosive traits at his Pro Day (41-inch vert, 140-inch broad), but he has limited experience at corner and questionable strength. He should start out on special teams as the Jets attempt to develop his traits into an NFL corner.
